Beacon Point Marine Solves Environmental Concerns

Boat maintenance just got easier.

Letter from Beacon Point Marina

Wash water from high pressure washing of boat hulls and bilges must be captured and disposed of properly.  Once captured the wastewater must be either recycled or pre-treated for discharge to an approved sanitary sewer system.

Jim DeCarlo, Facilities Manager Beacon Point Marine in Cos Cob, CT says: "We had an independent lab do a pre and post treatment test of the water and the results were excellent "

Hydro Engineering Inc. Introduces its Watercraft and Vehicle Decontamination System and it’s Ready for Instant Deployment in the Gulf States Affected the Massive oil Spil

The decontamination system by Hydro Engineering Inc., is totally portable and can be set up and operational in one day. It includes a patented modular wash rack that collects the waste water and oil. The waste water and oil is pumped to filtering and recycling equipment that separates the water from the oil and then supplies the water back to high pressure washers that reuse the recycled water.

The Hydrosite is packaged as an instantly deployable wash rack. It arrives as a fully assembled package requiring just hours to become fully operational. This Hydrosite decontamination system can be used anywhere that level ground, a water source and electric power from either the grid or generator can be found.
